The Circus!!

Yesterday evening we took Tyler to see the circus. He had a great time and did really well. We dropped Syd off at grandma Nancy's and headed to the arena at about 5:30 so Ty could see the animals for the "all access pre-show". I must say that there wasn't too much to see. They did have about 6 elephants out and you can see the tigers from a distance. There were a few miniature horses and a few goats too. We weren't all that impressed and will probably skip that next time around. After that we headed inside to see the clowns that were entertaining the crowd until the show started. This was much more fun to see, and we were able to snap a few photo's of Ty with the clowns. He wasn't too sure what was happening at this point. We decided to get something to eat and that was a nightmare. The line was forever long and it took forever to get our food. Once we were seated we were able to eat and the show began. Tyler was so intrigued by all the performers and with what was happening. He kept asking " what are they going to do now?" He did really well and even told us when he needed to go potty. He did start to wear out about 2 hours into the night and started asking to go home. We got some more sugar into him and then he started having fun again. He got to pick out a little souvenir to take home so he will remember his trip to the circus. All in all it was a great night.
